New Memers Joining CMC and CMC 2026 Summer Project

We’re excited to welcome new members to CMC: Irene Kim, Kevin J. Hong, Inshik Cho, and Angeleen Kim. With their passion for urban art, our muralists eagerly began searching for the next site.

We secured LG Twintel, an officetel—Korean mixed office–living building—located within five minutes of four subway stations, underscoring the neighborhood’s bustle.

After brainstorming, we chose to paint ducks inspired by the duck-shaped earthenware from the National Museum of Korea. We believed this motif would introduce a sense of traditional Korean beauty into a hectic Seoul streetscape. Despite the heat and humidity, everyone worked hard to bring this vision to life in a neglected corner of the city, fulfilling the City Mural Collective’s mission once again.
